WOMEN'S 400H
Final
High school star Lashinda
Demus from California led early, up until at least hurdle 5, but nicked
7, losing her momentum. Off the turn, defending champ Sandra Glover
pulled away to win in a slowish 55.08. No. 2 all-time Tonja Buford-Bailey

Demus faded to 5th in 56.51 (still 8th best HS time ever), Harvard's
Brenda Taylor passed Michelle Johnson off the last hurdle to grap 3rd
55.99-56.21.
