Men's 200

A cold, rainy early afternoon is no place to run a fast 200, but it's not too bad for an exciting race. After a false start charged to Brian Lewis, the race was underway. Ramon Clay got a good start, but Jon Drummond led off the curve.

Shawn Crawford and Kevin Little ran well off the turn, with Crawford, slightly ahead. Clay closed well, but Crawford, last year's NCAA indoor and outdoor champ was a clear winner in 20.54 to Clay's 20.60. Little held on for 3rd (20.64) ahead of Darvis Patton (20.72).

Bernard Williams did not start, reportedly due to tired legs.
