Women's Steeplechase

No World Champs berths are at stake, but the team for the Goodwill Games, where some significant prize money and World Record bonuses are on tap, will be chosen. Look for ex-ballerina Liz Jackson to make a run at her national record (9:49.73, set winning the NCAA 3 weeks ago), and possibly the World Record of 9:40.20. NCAA runner-up Rebecca Bennion of Weber State might be the only challenger.

Stat geeks (yours truly?) will be interested to see if the mass sub-10:00 finish at NCAA's (6) can be broken.
