U.S. WOMEN'S AOY
Four In A Row For Marion
As the World AOY, Jones obviously
also earned top honors among Americans, where she was similarly just
a vote shy of perfection (Stacy Dragila again getting the one dissenting
vote).
This gave her a record fourth
straight No. 1 and left her only one behind Jackie Joyner-Kersee's all-time
record of five total. Anybody want to bet she doesn't get it in 2001?
