Razorbacks Maintain Their Lead;
Big Showdown On Saturday

Arkansas and Oregon retain their #s 1 & 2 status in the latest edition of our collegiate men's dual meet rankings, but that ranking (and probably the overall season title) could change this weekend.

The two powerhouses will meet on Saturday at historic Hayward Field, with the national title hanging in the balance.

There are two dual meets this weekend which include one or more ranked teams (links go to host institutions).

The Oregon-Arkansas matchup is a men's-only competition and will be held on Saturday during the Oregon Relays. A live webcast will be available at pac-12.com.

Also on Saturday, #11 Cal travels to unranked Stanford for the 119th edition of The Big Meet, the longest-running collegiate dual meet in the nation.

Women’s rankings will be released every Tuesday and men’s every Wednesday, with the final orderings coming on April 30 and May 1.

To be eligible for listing, a team must compete in at least one dual meet (using the T&FN definition of a dual, which is a scored meet of 4 or fewer teams). Rankings are compiled for a combined indoor and outdoor season, with outdoor competition given more weight. Teams are also rewarded for an extensive and/or challenging dual-meet schedule.
