NCAA FORMCHART—Women

Chart #4 (switch to men’s chart)

compiled by Jack Pfeifer (as of May 29)

Oregon Increases Lead Over LSU…

LSU was on top, barely, in our first two charts of the year, then after the Conferences were in the books, the Ducks edged ahead by a single digit.

The results of the Regionals have propelled Oregon to a still-tight 4-point edge, 72–68, as each of the two powerhouses picked up a significant number of points. So much so that Kansas, which appeared to be a challenger last time, no longer is so.

With all 3 schools projected to score points in the climactic 4x4, so we could see drama of the highest order in Des Moines at the big dance.

Despite many changes to the chart overall, there are only 3 new picks as No. 1: 4x1—LSU; triple jump—Andrea Geubelle (Kansas); javelin—Melissa Fraser (DePaul).
