Barrett, Bayer, Duncan and Forbes sign with agent Paul Doyle
ATLANTA, GA Doyle Management Group (DMG) is excited to announce its 2013 signing class. The agency now represents Brigetta Barrett of the University of Arizona, Andy Bayer of Indiana University, and Kimberlyn Duncan and Damar Forbes of LSU.
DMG CEO Paul Doyle is pleased to be adding such a distinguished group of athletes to his agency.
“I’m very proud to be adding people with such high caliber athletic ability and character to our group,” says Doyle. “It’s exciting to have the opportunity to work for them for what will surely be long and successful careers.”
Barrett, the reigning Olympic high jump silver medalist, joins DMG after becoming the first woman in collegiate history to win three-straight NCAA indoor and outdoor titles as an Arizona Wildcat. Barrett also holds the collegiate record and personal best mark of 2.03 meters.
“Paul has a reputation for handling his athletes with great care, and at the end of the day, I felt most comfortable with him,” says Barrett. “I feel like our personalities and energies match.”
Bayer, a 12-time NCAA All-American at Indiana University, signs with DMG following a standout career including the 2012 NCAA title in the 1500-meter run. Bayer also finished fourth place at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 1500-meter run and was named the 2012 Big Ten Track Athlete of the Year.
“As soon as I met with Paul, everything clicked,” says Bayer. “He is very easy to talk to, easy to get along with, has a great staff and it’s just a perfect fit.”
Duncan concludes her collegiate career at LSU as the first athlete in NCAA history to win three consecutive titles in the indoor and outdoor 200-meter dash. She also won the 2012 Bowerman Award as the nation’s top female collegiate athlete.
“Paul is the best agent for me,” says Duncan. “I know he will look out for me and help me excel as a pro to be the best I possibly can.”
Forbes, who represented Jamaica in the long jump at the 2012 Olympics and 2011 World Championships, signs with DMG after winning the 2013 NCAA outdoor long jump title for LSU. He is also a 5-time NCAA All-American.
“I signed with Paul because of the diversity and strength of his client roster and his ability to manage different types of athletes effectively.”
