U.S. Relay Rankings


After being knotted in a 3-way tie for No. 8 last season, Oregon, winner of the NCAA 4x4 title, charged all the way to the top of the Track & Field News Women’s Relay Rankings for 2012.

The Ducks scored a 4-point win over LSU, which repeated as runner-up. Defending champ Texas A&M ended up in a tie for 3rd with Tennessee, well off the pace.

Long a distance power, the Oregon foursomes took the 4x8 and 4x15 in addition to the 4x4 win, and earned a 4x1 No. 4 and distance medley No. 2.
