2014 NCAA POST-DAY-2
FORMCHART—Women

A recast of the pre-meet formchart compiled by Jack Pfeifer

Day 2 competition on Thursday ratcheted up an already tight team battle. Texas, the narrow pre-meet favorite, still rides atop the formchart. Texas A&M (projected at 65 points) and Oregon sit within 4 points.

Hang onto your hats until the 4x4. That's when this will likely be decided. Much depends on how favored baton squad Texas copes with the absence of Ashley Spencer, who went down with an injury in her 400 heat. The Longhorns have a deep bench for the 4-lapper.

Our methodology for recasting the chart is simple. Athletes or relay teams on the pre-meet formchart that failed to advance to the final have been eliminated from the scoring, and athletes/teams below them have been moved up. We have NOT added in more competitors to fill out each event to 10-deep.

Completed events (10K, long jump, discus, hammer, javelin) have been recast to reflect the actual results.
