The Greek gets little credit because he is white. It's that simple.
He's plain fast, is what he is. And not psyched out like a lot of white guys who probably have the talent, but are scared or brainwashed out of competing before they even hit their teens. Wonder how many potential white triple jumpers with world beating talent go to waste in the US alone every year. I do think (American/Caribbean/W. African) blacks have a very high number of guys with the natural ability to succeed in the sprints/long jump, higher percentage of guys than the white population. But that doesn't mean so few whites have the talent that we see one pop up every 10 to 20 years.
