I just got back from France and you can now download most of the races from the Grand Prix meet I recorder with my camcorder. Hope you enjoy. http://www.joffroirunning.com/GrandPrix.html

Get someone who knows something about the sport to proofread your site.

Thanks for the great videos. I haven't watched all of them yet, but we need to see more of this on the Internet. Names backwards? Who cares?

The .wmv format was good for downloading. Not ideal, but a good compromise for people who have dialups. I'd personally prefer mpeg-1 or mpeg-2, but this is still great.

The .wmv version is best suited for downloading because of 2 factors:

1) It compresses the file down to a size for more room on a server or disk. This also makes for saving more space on data transfer, which could cost a lot of money, especially with large files such as video clips.

2) It greatly reduces the downloading time, as you stated, on people with dial-up.

The videos, I assume, were made using Windows Movie Maker which is ideal for web production in this instance. Let's not forget that the webmaster, as do many with sites just like his, conducted all of this with his own time and money.

Great job and keep up the great work!

Hey buddy, go to hell. This is a HS kid who has taken his time to do all this. Does he get paid? Does he ask for anything in return? NO. he is a fan who wants to share with others.

I am getting sick and tired of T&F fans compalining all the time about coverage of the sport.

+ You complain when meets are not on
+Then when meets are on you are mad they are not 100%
+Then you are upset they don't show every lap of every race
+Then when they show part of teh 5k you are pissed they don't show every step.
+Now this kid takes time to tape these races, put them on his site and all you can do is pick.

No worries about whatever folks were complaining about. I'll take a diamond that is slightly rough over no diamond at all any day.

I wouldn't worry about the FSPs.

Well done. It is great to see the W200 from an angle that we would not normally see. Excellent work and many thanks indeed.
