Kelly will not medal in Moscow.

She always seem to run fast outside of championship races(WC and Olympics)

Good run by Baptiste. Anything can happen at Moscow so I won't rule her out.

She has run many fast times over the years. Never in a championship setting. I am not convinced it will change.

You know she wasnt suppose to medal in Daegu right ? And what happen there;she snatch the bronze form SAFP. Don't rule her out, a woman of her caliber will always be in contention for a medal

You are probably right with no VCB or Felix running the 100m.

T&T got a nice relay team there. Hopefully they learned from last year's Olympic final.

Yeah they should be in for shout at getting a medal as long as they get the line up right and exchange the baton properly

I'm a little cautious about times posted in Trinidad, after Bledman posted such a fast time in last year's trials, but disappointed outside of the twin-island republic....

Kelly looked very good ... Id be willing to go out on a limb and say that she could possibly run 10.7 this season

Yes 10.70's are right around the corner if she maintains this sort of form for Worlds.

You can see the flags are really flying in the right direction. I'm not suggesting any foul play with the wind measurement, but it is unlikely that she'll face such seemingly perfect conditions again this year.

I thought the same thing about the flags, I was trying to locate the wind gauge on the infield.

Found a video of the 200m, looks just as good with big 0.24 PB.

Good wind, but not down the straight, so 1.6 is not unreasonable. However, she did have the right wind vector because the direction did not hinder the first 40m, and was helpful from there, with possible 2.5mps by 80m in. Also, on the straight, the stands will drop the wind some when it comes from that angle, although it might go 'along' the track more than it does where the gauge is.

All in all, I would rate this behind SAFP's efforts and those of Gardner and maybe no more than equal to the next several. A medal possibility, but not a gold medal favorite at this point. On the other hand (hey, I am an economist), she kills the second half!

Sorry if I missed this elsewhere, but did we ever see anything about Hackett being cleared of the doping charges?

She's set to compete In Paris. We'll see if her T&T Trials form continues.
