Rays had hit song "silhouette', silhouettes adopted name of Rays hit song, silhouettes were one hit wonders with 'get a job' ... had to dig pretty deep in google. If anyone knows this without 'help' ... that would be quite impressive/amazing. Impressive because of the obscure and obtuse connection. If I have it correct it would be just short of 'amazing', even with google's help methinks

OK...I guess I'll have to toss one out there in return.

This American singer is now famous (well almost, thanks to the internet) for having two songs (one of which was #1) in the Top 10 during the same week in 1969. He was not allowed to to receive credit on either song due to contractual agreements. Name the bands and the singer.

There is a "Silly 50's" pop culture connection. Need any more hints?

I asked some of these about 6 years ago, so if anyone remembers the answers, give others a chance... all Track related.

If the Ventures were Track officials, what event would they officiate ?

What was the favorite event of The Four Preps ?

What Olympic sprint queen had a particular favorite song by Neil Sedaka ?

What half miler named Tony something particularly liked The Fleetwoods ?

The Ventures would have officiated the race walk (Walk, Don't Run)

Tony Blue would have like the Fleetwoods (Mr. Blue)

Dont know the other two.

The Four Preps would have liked the marathon.
They had the song "26 miles (across the sea)".

Some of the lyrics went:

26 miles across the sea
Santa Catalina is-a-waitin' for me
Santa Catalina, the island of romance, romance, romance, romance"

Questions # 1,2 and 4 above have been answered, but now I must amend # 3 as it contained a mistake ! So here is a revised # 3, plus a new # 5:

# 3 What Olympic sprint queen had a particular favorite song by Chuck Berry ? ( not Neil Sedaka)

# 5 What Neil Sedaka hit was a particular favorite of a 10 K WR holder ?

This would be Ron Dante of The Archies "Sugar Sugar" and Cufflinks "Tracey" fame.

Later became Barry Manilow's producer.

I'll ask this question one more time:

What Olympic sprint queen had what favorite song by Chuck Berry ? Not a big hit, but anything by Chuck is a big hit with me.
