Andrew Wheating 2:52.2 Penn carry

First leg of the DMR. I'm surprised no one's mentioned this. It was a weekend of great performances and this was one of them. After an off couple of years, relative to his 2010 and to what we thought he might be doing, maybe he'll be back in the thick of it for spots on the US team. What's 2:52.2 predict for 1500 right now? Maybe 3:38? Not bad for late April.

It should be pretty close to 45 seconds for the 300m (the marginal pace is about 60 seconds/400) -- that gives marginally under you guess, so I say you are pretty much on the money. However, in a relay you do not always get as much pacing assistance as you do in a non-championship 1500. It shows 3:37- possibilities already and 3:35 shape by early June.
