It will be interesting to see how these girls do. Unlike Jamaica, FLorida, etc., there have been virtually no outdoor meets yet this year (today is the wramest it has been since November (at least) and yet the weather for Wednesday is ". New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. " and Neenah is expecting rain/snow mix for Tues, Tues night, Wed night and Thursday. Meanwhile a bit further north they have had 44 inches of snow since April 5th, more than two feet of snow on the ground and if you exclude a couple of 'warmer' days with rain, it has not been over 42 since November.

Thus, these girls are not likely to be in peak shape, especially with state meet not until June. Also, these gals are also distance runners at least as much as and 4x800 team, as they waltzed away with the state XC championship even with the distance second place being in the top 50 teams in the country. I am guessing that they would be better in a 4xmile and a 4x800.

I thought Grosse Pointe (MI) was going to take a shot at the distance relays this spring.
They just missed (by about 3 seconds) the indoor 4 X 1 mile record.
That's the team with Haley and Hannah Meier on it.
They were talking about getting the records for DMR, 4 X 800, and the 4 X 1 mile (or 4 X 1500).
Maybe somewhere other than Penn??

Edwin allen the Jamaican power runs very fast first laps, then dies the 2nd lap

that;s what they did versus fayettville Manlius last year

quals are Thursday with the final Friday afternoon

oddly Bronxville without mary cain should make the final

interesting to see who can break 10
