Anyone catch the DQ on Eric Jenkins? Didn't see anything that appeared to be DQ worthy. There was some jostling on the last lap but it didn't appear it was caused by Jenkins.

After rewatching the ESPN3 replay a few times, Jenkins moved out to pass and placed his arm and hand on the back of Oklahoma State's Erassa (who he was attempting to pass) at about the 7:18 or 7:19 mark in the race, causing Erassa to temporarily lose his balance. That's what resulted in the DQ.

It appeared that Jenkins was jostled causing him to reach out for balance.

He caught the jersey and caused a problem. However, it is an open issue if it was just the cascade from something before, something that the athlete he interfered with might have even initiated.

I think Errassa moved and may have forced the response from Jenkins.

After watching carefully a few more times, I'm having a tough time seeing how Jenkins' hand is what caused the Oklahoma State runner to temporarily lose his balance a second or two after the contact. Gotta feel bad for Jenkins after a great performance.
