You are confusing T&F fanaticism with eidetic memory skills!
Yes, I am with Marlow. Most events? Even the most fanatical fans I have known over the years really only keep track of a few favorite events. And the past 100 years? Hmm...
From monitering this website I have concluded that although interested in and somewhat knowledgeable in some events, I am relatively far from fanatic about T&F. I am constantly amazed by the breadth and depth of knowledge of posters here. It seems they either have photographic memories and instant recall or instant access to an incredible data bank of current and past performances. I could not find the answers to some of this stuff if given half a day and a helper. Just marveling. Carry on.

Probably just as well I can't be held to account over this one
We're all quoted in GH's column in the latest issue of T&FN!!
The reason I didn't know about that was that I'm still reading the MARCH issue, so had just skimmed briefly through the new (April) issue, and hadn't read any of the articles completely yet!!
Okay, there are 3 reasons I don't subscribe.
1. I LIKE going to Fairhaven Runners to get my issue. They're a very successful running store, but still small, and I like giving my business.....even if just $4.34 per month's worth!!....to my local friendly running shop.
2. I've been a subscriber several times in the past.....and though I'm NOT blaming T&FN......occasionally an issue would arrive torn or frayed or wrinkled.....and when I buy it in the store, I get a PRISTINE copy!!
3. I LOVE T&FN, but I no longer depend on it for my record-keeping purposes. (I have a 500 page self-compiled T&F Record Book!) I mostly use Athletics Annual, FAST Annual, and HS Track for my research. Also, this site!! I get full results of all the meets here (or through links from here), so don't really NEED T&FN for that. All that said, I DEVOUR every issue....eventually!!
Thank you, Daisy!! You got my wheels turning trying to find out the answer to your riddle!!
(I'm glad you didn't connect me to that child molestation case!! )

I just got a new truck and watching the odometer I have been reminiscing over great pentathlon, then heptathlon and now decathlon scores.
Just passed Daley.
Okay, here's a little "numbers association" test! I too will see a time on my watch and think of a running record....or even of a time I ran way back when!! So here's a few "times" people have run......which could ALSO be times on your digital watch. How many can you instantly identify?? (Don't worry if it's p.m. or a.m........doesn't matter!! And some are more esoteric than others!!)
