He will be joining the Racers Track Club when he finishes high school. He will be in good company(Bolt, Blake, etc).

When that happens, I would rather see him as a 200/400m runner versus a 100/200m sprinter.

From looking at the anchor leg he ran at the 2013 gibson relays over the weekend he definitely has tremendous potential especially speed endurance. There is however still room for improvement considering the fact that he would be potentially joining Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake training camp.
Here is his blistering anchor leg from the gibson relays:

I'm just not seeing how he's prodigious. He's older than some college sophomores and his personal bests, while excellent aren't exactly mind-blowing.

The good thing about Delano is that he is very good at the 100/200/400m.

He's not even the best 19 year old sprinter that's British.

Even in a best case, he's the fifth fastest 19 year old 400m runner.

i think cherry has a future

but williams i think has a better future

10.37 to win jamaican hs champs

and a low 21 into a neg win to win the 200 there

one great thing is the track shows what people are

Well, let's see how Williams develops....British sprinters and quarter-milers seem to fade away after early promise.

Interesting youngster....from the Turks and caicos, which is a british colony, making him British, but goes to school in nearby Jamaica.

Yeah, world junior...Britain has had a history of world junior athletes doing well, and not progressing to the next level. Harry A-A, MLF, Simeon Williamson, etc.

"MONTEGO BAY, St James — Munro College's Delano Williams will be chasing history at next week's 103rd staging of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championships at the National Stadium when he seeks to defend his Class One sprint double titles....Williams, who is still uncertain about his next move after completing Munro College's sixth form this year, says he hopes to become part of the Glen Mills Racers Track Club stable while attending college. He ran a personal best 10.32 seconds to win the Class One 100m at Western Championships last month, and a season's beat 20.79 seconds, running into a head wind, to win the 200m."
