How ironic: the whole point of the ad is to NOT take things out of context, yet some people insist on doing so! It was just humor.
One of the important things that the USA's Freedom of Speech SHOULD cover is the right to burn our flag in protest to bad American behavior. I served in the military for 20 years and often cry when the NatAnth is played in particular circumstances, but would ALWAYS defend one's right to do so.
