64 Gold Medalist in the shotput. High School phenom in the shot and discus from ?North Pheonix High in the late 50s. I think he attended USC and became a dentist. Where is he? Involved in track?

Dallas Long recently finished high on the list of "great track and field names" posted elsewhere on this site.

There was a post on one of the track websites in the late 90's, and just which one I do not recall, about Dallas Long. It said that he was an emergency room doctor in Los Angeles and had given testimony in the Rodney King case. I have not been able to verify this however, but the post was by an extremely knowledgeable track individual.
