Very good, cullman and yes, happy birthday today to Willi Holdorf. You know that Willi won the 1964 Tokyo decathlon and that the decathlon scoring tables were changed in late spring of 1964 (The Olympics were in October). The new scoring tables really hurt CK Yang. Yang set a new world record in 1963 of 9,121 points (He was a great vaulter). Yang competed in Rome four years earlier, but his performances in Tokyo were not as good as those of Rome. Only in two events did Yang do better than he did in Rome. He ended up in fifth place in Tokyo (Silver medal in Rome). Holdorf was 24 in Tokyo and today he is 73. Time flies when you have fun.
