And 52.3 being just the third best on the list.

Re: 2013 Indoor Results
Irene Ekelund today won 200m in Swedish Indoor championships on 23,15, breaking the national record by 0,32. This makes her nr7 in the world so far, and all that at age 15.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsMary Wineberg wins the Milrose 400 by 0.01 over McCorory in 52.19. Now is when we need Guru to provide commentary/background etc. Moline's 53.23 is pretty good for the 400h collegian.
Jenn Suhr and Kylie Hutson both made 4.65, but Suhr passed [4.75] to 4.81 (ahead on misses) without a higher clearance.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsI was very surprised at Doc Patton's 6.51 seconds at the Millrose Games. New PR at age 35.
Says he has put in alot of work into his start since it has always been the weakest part of his race. Also, he looks like he is putting in alot more work in the weight room. Great for him. Lets seem what he can do at US Indoor Nationals as well as outdoors.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsI saw it somewhere, but can't find it.
Can someone please re-post the 1500 times in the Men's mile at Millrose yesterday? I saw the enroute times posted, but I just can't find it now!! Thank you!

Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsUhmmm no one is going to mention the world leading time of 50.88 from Natasha Hastings.
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
Having the pleasure of seeing it live, it was a great race from her, using her superiour flat speed to get out and never really being challenged. Her FS in the 60m acted as a good motivator! Her outdoor PBs are now 6 years old this year, having stagnated the last few seasons and this run is her third best 400m inside, interesting to see in this post Olympic year what she can manage. Her technique has always looked a little off for me, lots of anterior pelvic tilt, if she could push her hips a little more forward I think she's do better.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsAnyone interested in a lot of mediocre running and some good jumping can follow the German indoor champs:
Liveresults here: http://la.sportresult.com/ajax/dlv.asp? ... 06&lang=en There is also a Livestream but i think it only works with a German IP: http://www.leichtathletik.tv/2013/Sonst ... dm13/1.htm First good result: world leading shotput by Christina Schwanitz 19.79m.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsWhoa, Deon Lendore just ran a 45.15 400m in the SEC prelims
Re: 2013 Indoor Results230 during the Hept so Drouin broke the event best twice. Cato 6090 Hept and 785 LJ. Raedler, Patrick (Nebraska, and ?) went 787.
But the big result is that Sowinski is not even the best Big Ten guy in the 600 (300m track, though but it is not clear that a 600 on a 300m track is faster than one on the top banked 200, and they count for the record): Loxsom, Casimir Penn State 1:16.33 1:15.42 (American Best)
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsI'm too embarrassed to post results from the Germany indoor champs cause some of the results are so unbelievably bad. 16.15m for triple m, 4.40m pole w, 6.38m long w, 54.22s 400m w and so on. I can't remember such a disappointing display of German T&F. However there is a very good PV competition going on at the moment, five guys over 5.70 already.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsIn yesterday's SEC meet......
Eddie Lovett of Florida ran 60H prelim in 7.57!! His time is #12 on the A-T Collegiate list!! Kim Duncan PR'd in the 200 prelim in 22.71.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsThe only good result from the second day of German champs was the mens PV:
1. Björn Otto 5.85, 2. Malte Mohr 5.80m, 3. Hendrik Gruber 5.75m, 4. Tobias Scherbath 5.75m, 5. Raphael Holzdeppe 5.70m (Otto three attempts over 6.01m) And the rest of todays competition was TERRIBLE. 2.15m HJ m for the title, 47.33 400m m and so on. In a country that brought us Mögenburg, Thränhardt, Wessig, Buß, Meyfarth, Henkel and Friedrich, 2.10m and 1.80 were enough for third places in the high jumps. Something is seriously wrong.
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
Lovett just won the 60H with a new PR of 7.54, moving him to 9th A-T Collegiate!!
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsLovett's 7.54 win is being called the SEC meet record!!
But Ron Bramlett ran 7.52 in the 2002 SEC prelim race, so THAT should be called the meet record......unless only Finals marks are eligible for MR's!!
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsHere is the 400 from the SEC Conference meet. Note, in addition to the heats, there are also events like the 200, DMR and 4x400 that these guys are doing in a relative short period of time.

Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsDuncan just ran 22.54 to win and PR by .17.
Is she now # 4 all time? only Knight, VCB, and Muna Lee ahead if im correct.
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
It was really windy in Fayetville in Feb 2002.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsAnyone know why Arman Hall didn't run at SEC's? He was in UF's meet preview but he's not in the results.
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
But guess what?? There's ANOTHER error in the SEC meet record listings!! They have the women's 200 MR as Kerron Stewart's (then of Auburn) 22.46 from the 2007 meet as the MR! Wrong!! That meet was in the Nutter Arena in Lexington KY, which is listed as a 290 meter track!! Oversize!! Therefore, NO RECORD!!! If it's not eligible for an NCAA record, then it shouldn't be eligible for a meet record either!! So I'm not sure, but Kim Duncan's 22.54 today MIGHT be the REAL Meet Record!! And with A Purvis and K Brown running 22.70 and 22.73 behind Duncan, it was quite a race!!
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
The SEC can have whatever rules they want for what they consider the meet record. Maybe they know that a strongly banked 200m track like Arkansas aids a runner more than an OT track does, so they use common sense, rather than some not-always-appropriate assessment to determine what they consider to be meet records. In terms of rules, I would be inclined to say that using a strongly banked track makes most 200m and many 400m races ineligible for record purposes -- they are aided events that would not even be legal for road racing records (they exceed the allowable downhill limits).
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
I think Sanya had a 22.49 on the same day VCB ran her indoor pb. BTW does anyone know what lanes each of these runners ran in? Was the track the same as it is now?
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsAurieyal Scott 7.13 pb at Conference USA indoor champs!!!!!! She has had a 7.20 in prelims. So she has def been working on her start(watch out Kimmie D). She also ran a 22.91 in the finals(im sure she would have ran in the 22.5's if she ran at Fayetville yesterday).
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsAaron Earnest wl 20.53 in sec finals.
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
The preferred lanes for the one of the meets (SEC?) were listed as 5, 6, 4, 3, ... if that helps
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
Seems that they have just been messing with the lane draws forever indoors. I think it was previously top 4 go 5,6,4,3 in the second section They have done the top 2 get lane 5 in separate sections this SEC's just had the top 2 were 5,6 in the 2nd section, next two 5,6 in first section Oh and yea Knight, VCB, M. Lee, SRR, and K. Stewart should be the ones ahead of Duncan.
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
Yes, and in the ACC this weekend it was 5,6,4,3 with the top two getting lane 5 in separate sections.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsBig 10 men was a pretty close race. Wisconsin 1st with 90 points and Minnesota 5th with 86....amazing.
Re: 2013 Indoor Results
And how they got there is a story in itself. Wisconsin had a 1.5 point lead over Illinois going in to the 4x400, with Illinois having the second fastest seed time. All of the teams in contention have to be in the same, final heat. At the last exchange the Illinois anchor (who won the 400?) took the stick on the wrong side and then ran straight -- with the exchange being on the curve -- and ran into someone and went down (not badly, though). He got going but then around where he passed the Wisconsin anchor, from what I heard, he stumbled and went down. Then, with 250 left he just threw in the towel and stepped off the track, frustrated! In another mark Francis from Oregon ran a 52.03 but in the video it really looks like she goes over the line an several steps on the curve.
Re: 2013 Indoor ResultsThanks 26 for the info. I heard something weird had happened on the relay. So Illinois like their basketball and football teams blew it again!
