Uain Bolt and other overseas athletes will be able to compete tax-free in this year's London Diamond League event at the Olympic Stadium after the chancellor agreed to a "one-off" exemption.

His manager said he would have to talk to him and Glen Mills. It's 2 weeks before Moscow so it has to fit into a crucial part of his preparations. However could he resist one of the biggets crowds he'll veer get in teh Diamond League in a city that is virtually like a hometown race to him?

I'm sure they expected that. However I'm sure it will be easily covered by the 60,000+ extra people watching the meet paying around $30 each.

I know, his agent wouldn't let him because the UK tax would take some of his global earnings so in even being paid his $250,000+ he would actually pay out much more than that to take part. But London has a massive Jamaican community and culturally has always been sympathetic and embracing of Jamaican's long before Bolt.

And the track is wonderful, really fast, we saw recently
