I think that the timer thought he was not going to run it out and did not start the clock that quickly. Also, it might be 11.9 for what was changed to 108 yards (98+m) and he had a rolling start. I suppose that someone could try to put a watch on for the replay.

Remember also he wasn't running in a straight line. It would be like Bolt had been DQ'd but kept running and all of the officials came out to try to stop him.

Only this replay, you can see the clock doesn't start until after he passes the 10 yard line and is at 14:50 when he crosses the goal line.
