Any clear account of what went on during this indoor 4x400m at The Armory?

I'm not sure, but what I read was that the runner in yellow knocked the baton out of the runner in blue's hand (with what may or may not have been a few intentional whacks) as he went past on the second leg of the 4x4.... During the heat of the moment the runner in blue decided to take justice into his own hands... The video below from NY Milesplit is a little higher quality, and the actual contact starts around the 8:51.00 mark of the video, near the end. The heat starts closer to the 8:49.00 mark.
