Day of Annuals

Stat fan that I am, today is a red-letter day as both the T&FN Annual issue arrived and the HS Annual did too (thank you, Mssrs. Hill and Shepard!). Later in the spring the USATF and ATFS Annuals come out. I must be inherently anti-social, because I enjoy looking through these as much as going to a really good meet!

And here's your Trivia question:
Which Oly event has the oldest Boy's HSR (who, what, where, when?). It's from the 70s.

Yes, Oregon's Clancy Devery, 2:23:05 at Trail's End Marathon, 1977. I ran the race the previous year.

Certainly not Lindgren as Gerry went to High School in the early-mid 60's. He had already graduated from WSU when I arrived there in 1970.
