Day of Annuals

Postby Marlow » Sat Jan 05, 2013 12:09 pm

Stat fan that I am, today is a red-letter day as both the T&FN Annual issue arrived and the HS Annual did too (thank you, Mssrs. Hill and Shepard!). Later in the spring the USATF and ATFS Annuals come out. I must be inherently anti-social, because I enjoy looking through these as much as going to a really good meet! :D

And here's your Trivia question:
Which Oly event has the oldest Boy's HSR (who, what, where, when?). It's from the 70s.
Girl's? (same year)

I'll give you Lindgren 10K and Maxie 400H. I could not give you when and where if my life depended on it.

GL only holds the 3Mile (and inferior to Rupp's 5K) - not an Oly event.
LM is 1984 - wrong decade

Do you know the contact person (& snail mail address) and price??
Also, the price of the 2013 HS Annual.

Yes, Oregon's Clancy Devery, 2:23:05 at Trail's End Marathon, 1977. I ran the race the previous year.

Certainly not Lindgren as Gerry went to High School in the early-mid 60's. He had already graduated from WSU when I arrived there in 1970.

What about Michael Carter?
