Indoor 400 Hurdle questionGiven over the last two years several European indoor meets have contested the 400 Hurdles has anyone in the U.S. ever heard of, or seen an indoor 400H on American soil? I have seen indoor 200 Hurdle and 300 Hurdle races, but never an indoor 400H. Two indoor 400H races will be contested this year in January on American soil. Many thanks. Rich
Re: Indoor 400 Hurdle questionDon't look now, but they're having (exhibition)400 hurdle races at indoor USATF this year.

Re: Indoor 400 Hurdle question
I haven't been paying attention, but obviously the spacings are not the same as outdoors, or they'd have to move all the hurdles between Lap 1 and Lap 2!
Re: Indoor 400 Hurdle question
The New Mexico Cherry and Silver Invitational last year was the first time that the race had been run indoors in the US. I know there were videos, but can seem to find them. Might have been on flotrack or runnerspace. results can be found here: http://www.tfrrs.org/results/22332_1437138.html Edit: yup, runnerspace has them: http://www.runnerspace.com/eprofile.php ... &do=videos
Re: Indoor 400 Hurdle question
OK, how cool is that - after the first coupla hurdles in lanes, they can break for the pole and go over any of the three hurdles placed across the track!
Re: Indoor 400 Hurdle questionThe final hurdle being 2 steps from the finish line can get pretty interesting as well!
