I'll respond here, just to get this post moving a bit by saying the same... Merry Christmas to one and all !
I just took a super-relaxed 6 mile run in the woods. A great way to celebrate the day, and think about so many things.

We just took a walk on the lake edge. We ventured out on to the ice and could see small fish below. Our kids had great fun throwing stones on the ice and hearing the pings as they bounced out towards the open water. Feel very relaxed now, it's nice to see the world take a rest once in a while.

And we just came back from a long watch on the beach! High 60s, but breezy, had to wear long-sleeved shirts! :D

FYI, I was wearing a T shirt, under my sweater and winter coats. It will have to get a lot colder here before I break out the long sleeved shirts.

I asked that any gifts I receive be on a $10 or less budget. I got a pack of black underwear --that's a first-- a line-in cord for my Boston radio, and a print of Lichtenstein's "Sleeping Girl" which is valued at about 45 mil bucks (mine about .45).

Weather's cool (36?) Two more months of the same please.

I'll check on how those breezy beach walks are going when hurricane Dorian blows in next August :P

A nice quiet day here at the North Pole with the elves. Had to work late yesterday however, with lots of frequent flyer miles. Good cheer to all!

We did something very similar this year, and thankfully the Christmas was largely stress-free, probably as a result....

My wife's best friend's family joined us for Christmas dinner, making it nice and small, and enjoyable - no relatives you can't stand!
