Can't remember all of them.....and definitely can't say if they're the "best" or just my personal faves, but here's a few I....uh.....enjoyed???

The one about Little Mary Cain I started. (And got SLIMED ON throughout!!)
Some of the OT or OG prediction contests, with lots of folks offering their picks.
The decathlon and heptathlon threads from the OT and the OG!!
The ones with memories of Gerry Lindgren.
That one-day election thread was interesting!

I'm certain there were more!!
Keep in mind that I only began posting/commenting on the T&FN MB on May 6 of THIS year!!

Agree w the first two mentioned -- mump's thread, and the OT deca thread. I know there were other good ones, but those two are among the best. Thanks to those who created them and contributed most to their quality.

The thread where I predicted Rudisha would win the OG in a world record of 1:40.9x. :D

I think the results would be very different.
1.) The process of the 1st one allowed folks to rethink their lists.
2.) We had another Olympics so some new 'favorites' came to the forefront.
I wish we would do a 2nd one.

I second that. That was a lot of fun. The TF&N forums and multi events are made for each other.

One of those favorite threads was enough. It went on for months and the winner, which was no surprise, got 17 votes! Plus with the acrimony that went with it and needless comments on personal choices, it was, in the end, not so great.

Agreed, mumps discussion topic was the most fun, entertaining and informative of the year for me. Well done spikes.
