I just discovered a book I want very much!
It's called....
American Women's Track and Field:1981-2000: A History
It's by Louise Mead Tricard.

Was hoping to find a cheaper copy!!

Although I might buy the 1895:1980 edition at Amazon's price of $25.
If I can find the 1981-2000 edition for the same price.......!!

You probably can't. The book was released in January 2008, and Louise passed away in late September that year. Much of her sale of the first volume she handled personally, and her illness and demise precluded doing much of that for the second volume. As a result, there are far fewer Volume II copies available.

Correctly said DJ, Volume II copies are lesser as compared to the first volume.
