Re: Yoshihide Kiryu 10.16For Comparson ...
Yohan Blake born 26 December 1989, 10.11 +1.2; (approx. 17 years, 4 months) Yoshihide Kiryu born 15 December 1995 10.19 +0.5; (approx. 16 years, 10 months, 20 days) *IAAF's new site doesn't have the date of performances anymore.
Re: Yoshihide Kiryu 10.16Impressed!
But as with most age-group record breakers, progress is sometimes slow to come by. Darrell Brown of Trinidad and Tobago (born Oct 11, 1984) holds the age 17 and age 18 records (tied with Jeff Demps at age 18) for the 100 with times of 10.09 at age 17 (2002) and 10.01 at age 18 (2003). Let's see what this Japanese phenom does in 2013 and 2014.
Re: Yoshihide Kiryu 10.19Impressive 10.19. Second place was impressive as well but Kiryu superior turnover makes the difference.
Re: Yoshihide Kiryu 10.16
Is there anyway we can make them reconsider that change on the site? It doesn't make sense at all. For people who want to follow and research stats why would you take away valuable information like when an event happened? I can never get when people make changes that are so obviously dumb.
