So, this is what the British tabloids have their panties in a bunch over?

The Telegraph wrote:American Olympic champion Christian Taylor's training deal at Loughborough criticised as ‘morally wrong’
UK Athletics is coming under fire for allowing Phillips Idowu’s biggest triple jump rival, the American Olympic champion Christian Taylor, to base himself in Loughborough and use publicly-funded facilities intended for British athletes.

So what do they think of USA taxpayer's money used for scholarships for THEIR laddies and lassies? Or that Jonathan Edwards trained at Florida State and used ITS facilities.
Too rich!

What did they expect when they brought his coach Rana Reider on as a consultant?

Apparently, their standard deal with foreign coaches is if they sign on with UK Athletics, they have to agree to coach only Brits. Reider was able to get them to waive that.

This story is total crap, no one gives a shit about it apart from journalists with nothing to write !!

You notice there are no actual names of anyone who has a problem with this, just one unnamed source who finds it 'morally wrong'

Is there a name for a micro-kefluffle? Perhaps a kerflufflette or kerflufflite?

Most of us love the Jams here, but no American $$$ should be spent on them, nor should their points count on post-season championships. Then we'd see just how altruistic the coaches and institutions are.

Didn't One Guy Named Mo train in the US before the Olympics?

Only the UK press could get upset about a triple jumper.....

Apparently these nitwits aren't aware of Mo Farah or who his coach is.
