Happy birthday today (Friday) to an Olympic champion who is as old as the Golden Gate Bridge.

Our birthday athlete turns 75 years today.

This champion was born on a farm.

When our athlete was 24 years old, this person had mononucleosis.

The right hip of our birthday athlete was replaced five years ago.

Benjamin Harrison graduated from the same college as our birthday person.

An Olympic champion in track and field from the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games shares the same initials as our birthday athlete.

Suffering from asthma, our birthday athlete went to school in Oxford.

Paul Ryan graduated from the same school as our birthday individual.

Dracula's author has the same initials as our birthday athlete.

You know this champion.

Name the athlete who turns 75 today.

EastBayprepoftheweek67, you got him. Happy birthday today to Bob Schul, winner of the Olympic 5,000 meters in Tokyo (in less than perfect conditions). This coming Thursday, October 18, will mark the 48th anniversary of Schul's victory in the Olympic 5,000 at Tokyo. If you have never seen the final 800 meters of that race, you might want to check it out via YouTube. Nice job, EastBayprepoftheweek67.
