Buckeyes

Happy birthday today (Wednesday) to two Olympic champions, both of whom went to Ohio State University.

They have a total of seven Olympic gold medals. The older of the two was born 21 years before the other.

Both men are no longer alive. The younger of the two died the same day as Nora Kovach (famous Hungarian ballerina).

The older man competed in one Olympic Games while the other person competed in two Olympic Games. The older athlete competed in a field event.

I can't say they have nothing to do with the hurdles because they do.

Name both champions.

Given the # of Golds, it's got to be Jesse Owens and Glen Davis.

EastBayprepoftheweek67, you got them. Happy birthday today to Jesse Owens (born 99 years ago today) and Glenn Davis (born 78 years ago today). Of course you know Owens won four Olympic gold medals in Berlin (1936) and Glenn Davis won two Olympic gold medals in Rome (1960) and one Olympic gold medal in Melbourne (1956).

Glenn Davis died in late January of 2009 while Owens died in late March of 1980. Good job, EastBayprepoftheweek67.
