¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Re: 2012 OG: w400–Krivoshapka (Rus) leads semis at 49.81Full credit to CO for truly being a championship performer.
Re: 2012 OG: w400–Krivoshapka (Rus) leads semis at 49.81OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH!!!
TBO GONNA GETCHA!!!
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Dee Dee Trotter Gets the Bronze!
Re: 2012 OG: w400–Krivoshapka (Rus) leads semis at 49.81Congrats to SRR....
More so congrats for Trotter!!!!! TBO you left it too late again.... but congrats to you! The time was underwhelming I think, but one could care less.... A medal is a medal!
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
Great run by Trotter
Re: 2012 OG: w400–Krivoshapka (Rus) leads semis at 49.81
An adjustment from 280-300m and she'd be in closer contention to Richards-Ross/Krivoshapka/Trotter. I believe she would have earned gold.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Oh if only TBO had made her move a little earlier! She nearly nabbed SRR, and guess what, TBO still has a better Olympic medal haul...
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55TRACK DADDY!
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
I thought she was going to steal it. Best personal effort in the race.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Sanya how to give us a heart attack? She went "walkabouts" in the 3d 100 and almost gave it away. Clyde must have been having a Hart attack!
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Sanya Richards has three gold medals.. I'm pretty sure that Ohuruogu has one.
Re: 2012 OG: w400–Krivoshapka (Rus) leads semis at 49.81
Yeah, closer than expected.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55I think Trotter is the MAJOR victory of this race.
And again with Krivoshapka and the Russians, under performing....
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55For those that called Sanya a choker now eat some
Krivodhspka will be a great rabbit for the 800 on day. So much fir all The predictions for sub 49 etc
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
Forgetting relays, are we?
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Montsho had admitted this week-end to being very nervous; she didn't seem to be composed as recent as yesterday. Her result this evening confirmed that.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Awesome for both Sanya and DeeDee. That's twice this year that Trotter has stepped it up when it mattered the most.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
Agreed.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55The race was underwhelming time wise. Everyone nervous? (yeah yeah I know history says blah blah).
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Slower race than I anticipated. Did not expect Trotter to be in the mix. Very exciting race! Ohuruogu did not look happy to come up short in front of the home crowd. It was gold or nothing for her?
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Can't believe how Ohoruogu shows up again.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
Individual Gold Medals.... TBO
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Dee Dee!!!!
I've loved her for YEARS! So glad to see her medal. Her first individual Olympic medal, right?
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
Looked like the 2nd 200m she took a bit too easy.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
It's her first individual medal of any kind. If this is her last Olympics, what a way to go out.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
No, they're tied. Each has one Olympic Gold medal.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Really really happy for SRR.I too thought maybe Trotter was gonna steal it!
I bet that slow third 100m was part of the plan. SRR did not panic-she ran beautifully. Race of the meet for me! If someone has trackdaddy's address call 911-NOW!
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55Sanya did her old routine of going out too fast, then thought better of it and slowed too much. Had to be nerves. Now I want to see her and Felix both run 48's in the relay.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
is track daddy a Sanya fan ?
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
CO Olympic Gold and silver World championship gold SRR Olympic Gold and bronze World championship gold and bronze I do believe TBO's olympic medal collection is superior. We dont count relay medals dear.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
He's Sanya's #1 fan!
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
Wrong she ran her same race pattern, she always takes the first 100 out fast. She did relax to much down the back straight. But she was obviously the strongest in the field.
Re: ¶2012 OG: w400–Sanya Richards-Ross (US) 49.55
AYE! She played it way too safe, thinking that all she had to do was mark Krivoshapka and take her out on the turn, thinking that Big O. in lane 8 was a death sentence for O. with Montsho able to spot her for a medal. Big mistake for Montsho, and almost an even bigger mistake for Sanya. Trotter! Big up to her for having a pair of 49s this year, both in the Olympics, and snaring a bronze when everyone else (Krivo, Montsho and both of JA) went to sleep. How about one more in Zürich, where Sanya will be trying to get back into the 48s?
