An adjustment from 280-300m and she'd be in closer contention to Richards-Ross/Krivoshapka/Trotter. I believe she would have earned gold.

Oh if only TBO had made her move a little earlier! She nearly nabbed SRR, and guess what, TBO still has a better Olympic medal haul... :D

Sanya how to give us a heart attack? She went "walkabouts" in the 3d 100 and almost gave it away. Clyde must have been having a Hart attack!

I think Trotter is the MAJOR victory of this race.

And again with Krivoshapka and the Russians, under performing....

Montsho had admitted this week-end to being very nervous; she didn't seem to be composed as recent as yesterday. Her result this evening confirmed that.

Awesome for both Sanya and DeeDee. That's twice this year that Trotter has stepped it up when it mattered the most.

Slower race than I anticipated. Did not expect Trotter to be in the mix. Very exciting race! Ohuruogu did not look happy to come up short in front of the home crowd. It was gold or nothing for her?

Looked like the 2nd 200m she took a bit too easy.

It's her first individual medal of any kind. If this is her last Olympics, what a way to go out.

Really really happy for SRR.I too thought maybe Trotter was gonna steal it!

I bet that slow third 100m was part of the plan. SRR did not panic-she ran beautifully. Race of the meet for me!

Sanya did her old routine of going out too fast, then thought better of it and slowed too much. Had to be nerves. Now I want to see her and Felix both run 48's in the relay.

I do believe TBO's olympic medal collection is superior. We dont count relay medals dear. :D

Wrong she ran her same race pattern, she always takes the first 100 out fast.
She did relax to much down the back straight. But she was obviously the strongest in the field.

AYE! She played it way too safe, thinking that all she had to do was mark Krivoshapka and take her out on the turn, thinking that Big O. in lane 8 was a death sentence for O. with Montsho able to spot her for a medal. Big mistake for Montsho, and almost an even bigger mistake for Sanya.

Trotter! Big up to her for having a pair of 49s this year, both in the Olympics, and snaring a bronze when everyone else (Krivo, Montsho and both of JA) went to sleep. How about one more in Zürich, where Sanya will be trying to get back into the 48s?
