Even if it gives a sort of bad image, and might raise suspicions, if what he says is true about them just being friends, then why should she stop being friends with him. Since her and the IAAF know she isn't taking drugs, I don't think she cares who the public sees her with.

For example, if you are a Usain Bolt or a Blake and you have a best friend(pre-ban) with the notorious Ben Johnson, why would you want to be seen hanging out with that person when he was banned?
It is just common sense that you wouldn't. It would raise too many suspicions. I am just saying.

Then why is Bolt hanging around, and even training with Blake?

Don't try to be smart. Ben Johnson was permanently banned from the sport for taking hard core steriods more than once. Blake was given a short 3 month suspension for taking a drink that that something that wasn't even on the banned list and that was subsequently added to the list(go figure). Get your facts straight and don't get me started.

Sorry, Jammin/Notorious/Jamaica50/tracknut2012, you're the one who brought it up. You're suggesting that athletes should avoid smoke because it gives the impression of fire, and I say smoke is smoke.

Like I said, why should she care? Suspicions are suspicions, not facts. The public doesn't enforce the rules, the IAAF does. and if they feel that she needs to be tested more, I doubt she has a problem with that since she is not dirty. Ato Bolden got it right during the Jeter segment on prime time, you can let the talk consume you or fuel you. She is obviously doing the latter.

I can guarantee too that since this has now "leaked", that there will no more "public appearances" with the notorious Mark Block. Imagine if TMZ or an Enquirer magazine got a picture of both of them and plastered it all over.
How great would that look
Jeter and Richardson needs to stay far away from this guy. He is very sly in his comments and they should run for the hills when they see him coming.

What will possibly come of this is an already-proposed change in WADA rules that would make a banned non-athlete like Block incapable of acting as athlete support personnel. I assume under such a rule change Jeter and Richardson would risk penalty by associating with him in a way that could be construed as sport-related.
I'd have a lot more respect for Block if he came out and said "yes I'm working with them, it's not against the rules, so sod off" or words to that extent.
