Thanks for your understanding.
Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY MORNINGCan we discuss non-T&F Olympic stuff on the Current Events forum? I honestly don't remember how it worked four years ago.
Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY MORNINGIn '08 the TNT&F forum did not close. But I agree in lieu of this forum non-T&F Olympic discussions should carry on in Current Events(I assume there will be a separate Oly T&F forum anyway)
Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY MORNINGGood point, I had forgotten that a separate Oly T&F forum would start.
Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY MORNINGWill you allow posts/threads from Olympic sports other than T&F on the Olympic forum?
Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY MORNINGSorry, but absolutely not.
Indeed, we're considering shutting down everything but the Olympic (track) forum itself. We're going to have a tough time monitoring the event-by-event stuff as it is.
Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY MORNINGA welcome rest from guns, Penn State, how many angels can fit on a pin... etc.

Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY MORNING
Amen to that Conor. There is just so much unhappiness with these issues. Time to think OLYMPICS ! TRACK at the Olympics !
Re: THIS FORUM HAS NOW REOPENEDour transition to London has gone far better than expected (from an office standpoint). Accordingly this board has been reopened at least until track starts.
Re: THIS FORUM HAS NOW REOPENEDAnd now the hand is finishing doing its writing on the wall: it's a virtual certainty that this forum will close come Friday.
The fate of the Current Events forum hangs in limbo at this point.
Re: THIS FORUM WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAYThis forum is slated for closure a few hours from now (the end of London's Thursday).
You'll have to learn to live without discussing other sports for 10 days or so.
