If this has been covered earlier, my bad. Will there be T&FN contest(s) for the OG?

If T&FN doesn't do one, we'll do something here on the board, even if it's only the 'Pick the Winners' one we've often done. Donley can't WAIT to (try and) beat me (again). :D

He's always a little late getting it up. Note on the site:

ESPN is have a Pick'em contest for the Olympics. Looks like you have to pick 13-15 different events every day. Only have two options per event, so its who is the best coin flipper out there.

Anyways I've started a public group called "Track&Field" if anyone wants to join me for a laugh.

I am in.

It seems you can only do one day at a time. We would only be doing the T&F portion, right?

If GH decides not to have a contest this Olympic year, then we should create one on here and score ourselves. We can have the same format as usual. One point for each medal pick.

I also like the 20 to 1 point winners only pick contest.

No, can't predict how many T&F events will be included. So, I'm doing the whole thing.

Plus, the options are probably going to be like
4X100 mens USA or Jamacian Gold
ANy other country.

Or
100m mens Usian Bolt Gold
Any other competitor.

So, it won't be much of a contest if we just do T&F.

Will there be an IAAF contest? You know, where you can make changes every day, and you have a captain, etc.

Money-schmunny. I won a crisp new Euro-note in the contest a while back and it still sits proudly on my wall. These contests are much more important than money!! :D

If anyone's looking for a contest suitable for an office pool or some such environment, touching on all the sports (but not including every event), send me an email, and I"ll send you the instructions and spreadsheet. It's suited for those who are keen but don't have time for research (and is no less good for those who have done the research).

I guess ESPN is running out of stamina for the game. As Day 3 only has 3 events? Phelps, Loche and WB-Ball. Like there is nothing else going on that day!?!?! :?:

A GH quote over on the NOT TRACK forum said the office transition to London went better than expected. So, does that mean the odds of a TFN contest have increased? :D

ESPN contest added events to day 5. Might want to check your picks a couple times a day as the seem to add events during the day. I guess the heard me about not enough events. :D

Rough day for me fell way out of the top 100. :( But there is light at the end of the tunnel. T&F has made the contest with day 7 shot put. Will Cantwell or Hoffa win Gold? I hope so. 8-)
