John Wayne alive and well? It taught those hoodlum punks a thing or two. However, I would sure be nervous if I was anywhere near that guy as he was firing that weapon!

I am a COMPLETELY anti-gun, 'people taking the law into their own hands' kinda guy, but every now and then I secretly cheer these people. The Neighborhood Watch guy who shot the hooded teenager was completely in the wrong, but this guy probably prevented something worse from happening; I just wish they were armed with tasers that could completely incapacitate a perp without killing him (thankfully didn't happen here).

Wrong based upon the media's exploitation of what they portrayed for political reasons? There is a good chance that everything the "watch guy" said was true and he was acting in self defense. What is sad is that the treatment people like the "watch guy" often receive because of the media without being able to have their day in court.

Receiving death threats and having the likes of Spike Lee and others like him attempting to give your residence or other whereabouts to the entire world via twitter is a crime in and of itself, akin to modern day mobocracy. It is reckless endangerment! I hope one day we see one of these idiots brought up on charges for these types of actions. We will likely one day see someone killed because of these idiotic messages as a result of the media being judge and jury.

If he had stayed in his car he would have had a different story to tell.

Sure he would. But how easy is it to play Monday morning quarterback?! If only, if only. How many of us have a dozen "if only" stories to tell. There is also an "if only" from the other guy involved.

What could the "if only" of an unarmed teenager who was shot and killed by a stranger pursuing him in his neighborhood possibly be? "If only I had a knife while I was trying to stand my ground against this armed nut pursuing me!"

Uh . . I don't know . . how about a civil discussion instead of sucker punching someone and breaking their nose as a hello whats up?. You really think the stranger was out jovially waving a gun around in the middle of the night for kicks?
