guru how many people use your handle? One post you're rational and even minded, the next post you are throwing around innuendo with no information just to stir up mess. Unwarranted mess by the way

My point - maybe instead of attending to her cult of personality, the media should be asking her what she was doing in Toronto Feb 29

Is she still selling her virginity story? It is the only thing she has going for her.

She would make a hell of a lot more telling the world how she "lost" that particular story. Certainly a lot more than she will ever get from running over a bunch of hurdles.

I'm not a Lolo fan at all, but if Lolo is guilty then so is Bolt, Paula, Michael Jordan, Kelly Holmes, Jürgen Klinsmann, Michael Owen, Stephen Gerard are all guilty as well.

Go on - be a devil. Tell us. You know you want to tell us all your dirty little secret.

Are you trying to tell us that she lost her virginity in the back streets of Toronto and that Saint Guru found it and returned it unused, intact and still in its original wrapping?

Wow really, guys? Does every thread about Lolo have to discuss what she does or does not do in bed, which NONE of you have any way of knowing?

Congrats to Lolo for getting another magazine cover.

I'm sorry but she can't have it both ways. She can't use (lack of) sex to make a ton of money then expect no one to comment on it (and, to be fair, I doubt if she does). She made her own bed...

So have a separate thread to discuss Lolo's sex life. It has nothing to do with her appearing on the cover of this magazine. It doesn't need to enter every single conversation about her when it's completely off topic.

Setting aside for a moment everything else this thread could be about in relation to Lolo Jones, in the spirit of the thread's title here's a link to the magazine's current issue, for anyone's info:

Exactly. And if one looks at the magazine link, Oxygen is not about "How to break 13.00 w100H" or "Drop your marathon PR to 3:20." It's about looking sexy. And also about looking sexy. Then there are some articles about looking sexy.

Cover article: "Stop Butt Jiggle" And scroll down to look at the the special Glutes, Abs, and Fat Loss issues. "Look Great Naked!" and "Best Butt Ever!" (also some nice bikini shots.)

Planning a pilgrimage to the Holy land with Tony Galea?

While having dinner with a great friend, Dr. Anthony Galea last week, the good doc told me that Lolo has intimated that she would like to accompany Galea to the Holy Land. After already making a couple of trips with Tony to Jerusalem, a third with this great woman would be an honour.

When a womens magazine is discussing how to firm up their rears it's pushing the "sexy" factor. When mens fitness or muscle magazines provides a yearly, "innovative" way to do squats for better results (a bigger ass) it's about fitness?

Amen!!!

That said, why did ESPN bypass Lolo's butt (and assorted other body parts) for their nude "Body issue"??

Something like that. But then, I don't make the "rules". And I pay no attention to GQ, Men's Health, etc.

It is a good thing the Olympics are in London, because the Brits are beyond this sort of thing.

I read Oxygen magazine and they tend to be very repetitive in their advertisments but Oxygen is considered to be one of the best fitness magazines for women. It is not sexually driven like other magazines like Curves It is not like Women's Health or Shape where it is fluffy stories and they give 4-5 workouts but it is more about empowering women to proud of fitness . Oxygen is for women who want to be hardcore fit like Lolo and other female athletes. Their cover girls are always fitness competitors , legit athletes or just regular women who devote their time to staying fit and there are no celebrity women. Oxygen has had previous Olympians on the cover such as Dara Torres and Janet Evans.

The cons though is that the ads and one liners do become repetitive such as losing thigh jiggle in 10 days or get your six pack in a week. All fitness magazines men and women catered tend to make the one liner statements. Muscle and Fitness magazine has 90% advertising and 10% information.

Overall I look at this as Lolo taking advantage of her 15 minutes of fame. 2012 might possibly be her last Olympics and she is making the most out of this and she is becoming the Olympic media darling by her own design.
