I may not be up to date, but I don't think German World Jav Champ del Zordo has the qualifier.

And I think German HJer Ariane Friedrich is also out. Before the Berlin WC 2009 a major US news magazine called her "Germany's only track and field star"! She did tie for silver (?) but it was the OTHER Germans who cleaned up!

Both de Zordo and Ariane Friedrich are on the team. de Zordo has As from last year and Friedrich is going with B (only HJer).

I am frankly disappointed that the Germans picked Friedrich. She hasn't shown condition, and last night Marie Laurence Jungfleisch (literally "young meat" :) ) cleared 1.95/6-4 3/4 in Lucerne. She wouldn't have threatened for a medal, but I seriously doubt that Friedrich will make a better showing than Jungfleisch would have.

If Jason Young's time from Luzern holds up, then he must be on this list...

Was listed already, but after Crawford's win today, she easily is the top hurdler who is not going to London, considering the season she has put together.

I'm sure Jungfleisch would have been selected had she jumped this height before the qualification deadline...

Agreed.

Both Friedrich and Jungfleisch jumped 1,92m during the qualification time, and Friedrich defeated Jungfleisch at the National Championships, which is, why Friedrich was selected.

I'm afraid the same thing has happened with another promising youngster Mirela Demireva, who also jumped 1.95m in Luzern (previous best 1.92m)

Veneva-Mateeva has the A standard already with 1.95m :x
when will she finally quit?
