JennerBruce Jenner has to be the oddest track guy of all time. That was the strangest track interview I have ever seen. O'Brien looked terrified to even look at Jenner, 'Is that me in 20 years?' He looked and acted like he fell on his head from a three story building. My father is 102 and he looks and sounds better.
Re: JennerGround Control to Major Tom: We have a very weird space alien in Eugene.
Re: JennerWell, I for one think that Bruce Jenner looks a helluva lot better in person than on TV.
Re: JennerSome of us agreed that he looked great when he took his walk around the track yesterday and complimented his choices of plastic surgeons and hair replacement experts
Re: Jenner
I swear to Dog I am not making this up, but a girl near me in the stands pointed to Jenner and said, "Isn't that Kim Kardashian's step-dad?" Oh, the humanity.
Re: Jenner
Meeoww.
Re: JennerHe is a joke and an embarrassment!
and all that time around those shallow K. sisters has definitely affected him for the worse. What a fool.
Re: Jennercan he actually breathe through that thing?
Re: Jenner
When I first realized he had plastic surgery many years ago it was before those surgeries were so common. I remember wondering...what happened to him? He went under the knife too soon if anytime is appropriate. He had to be among the more marketable Olympians ever with athleticism and good looks but I remember thinking that he'd screwed it up.
Re: JennerWow and I thought women had the claws.
Re: JennerThe NFL is investigating concussions in response to deteriorating mental conditions in former players. Thus, should USATF use Bruce Jenner as a warning sign? I think this bears further investigation. Is there a cover-up? Inquiring minds want to know.
PS. Fortunately, there are a limited number of Kardashians so the damage there can be controlled.
Re: JennerAm I that out of touch? I know Bruce Jenner and his standing in the pantheon of track and field but I had not idea that he was part of that crazy media hungry Kardashian family whatsoever til today. How the heck did I miss that and I'm not that old.
Re: Jenner
Consider yourself informed and mortified.
Re: Jenner
I was pretty appalled to read that they filmed some stuff in Eugene a few days ago. I guess everyone has a price for acting like an idiot in a reality show full of idiots whose audience is a bunch of idiots.
Re: JennerIf they had shown any of the Kardashian footage on yesterday broadcast.....last straw.
Re: JennerWhat was so bad about poor old Bruce, he has tens kids and in an interview I read he said that they mean more to him than any Olympic gold medal. What was so bad about him?
Re: Jenner
More kids probably means more attention on himself. The guy is a nut.
Re: JennerIt's a shame that most people know him today for his association with a bunch of no talent hacks.
Re: JennerIf he's really worth $100 mil, he doesn't give a crap what we think or say.
Re: JennerDespite his gold medal, he is officially a LOSER!
Re: Jenner
I think Jenner is so far gone, that no matter how much he is worth, what we say is completely irrelevant.
Re: Jenner
Totally agree. He defines the ex-athlete weirdness scale: a Jenner 10 (and I don't mean deca events).
Re: JennerI never hear a thing he says as all I can think " why the hell did he screw up his nose? He was a very nice looking man.
His lips are weird too...just all round creepy looking.
Re: JennerCrikey, how bad was the clip and what's so strange about him?
Re: JennerHe had some bad plastic surgery in the 80s (think Mickey Rourke) and he recently had some work to fix it. He looks better than he did a few years ago.
Re: JennerGuess I don't know enough about plastic surgery, but it amazes me how many wealthy people wind up with bad plastic surgery. What do they do, head down to Tijuana to save a couple thousand bucks? Try to stretch things a bit too far? Or is it simply that some faces are better adapted than others to surgery? I understand if you do it over and over you'll wind up looking like a freak (see Joan Rivers and Michael Jackson). Jerry Jones had a similar bad experience, though it looks better now than a few years ago. On the hair front, no reputable hair replacement doctor will try to give a 50 year old the hairline of an 18 year old because it looks so fake. Seems like Jenner got that part right, at least.
Re: JennerIt's the whole idea of getting major plastic surgery ON THE CHEAP that amazes me. If one is crazy enough to want to do it, it would seem pretty obvious that this is one case where you should be MORE than willing to go to the best doc one could possibly find. You can always buy bargain shoes, socks, and underwear, but a bargain face sort of hangs out there for all the world to see....every minute of the day.
Re: Jenner
True, he could be a syncronized swimmer
Re: Jenner
Jenner "went native" in Hollywood not long after he got himself on the Wheaties box - long before the K sisters came into existence. On plastic surgery, the only kind I've ever seen is bad - there is no "good" plastic surgery, is there ?
Re: Jenner
Oh yeah, there is. Take a look at 74 year old Jane Fonda. http://www.celebrityvalues.com/images/jane_fonda_300.jpg You might be surprised how many people go under that knife and you'd never know it except that they look so great for their age. I once read that a good plastic surgery job would make you look 7-10 years younger; unfortunately, some folks want to look 20 years younger, get all stretched out and wind up looking like the Phantom of the Opera. I'm sure bone structure has something to do with it and, obviously, the quality of the surgeon. The sad thing about Jenner is that he was a great looking guy; I don't know what he was striving for when he got cut.
Re: JennerI have been widowed for thirty years. Not being a celebrity, I have never considered plastic surgery. After all, even if the surgeons could make me look twenty years younger, the hotties ain't lining up for guys that look 60.
Re: Jenner
I had no idea, either, but then I proudly avoid anything reality-show related.
Re: JennerI am aware the Kardashians are out there because of almost unavoidable media coverage but would not know Kim from Khole from the other one if they came to my front door.
While I find little/nothing to admire about their reported antics, they are rich and I am not so whadda I know?
Re: JennerThe Jenner-Kardashian marriage may be on the rocks.

Re: Jenner
Bruce . . . buddy . . . it's for the best . . . P.S. 1983 called. It's still holding your face for you in Layaway.
