Blake should be down to 9.6+ by the time London comes around.

Thanks by the information

Anybody know if Bolt run 200 now?
I heard that perhaps if he had good feeling after relay he would run 200...

Bolt didn't run apparently, didn't expect him to in these conditions. Asafa was a no show either.

Easy easy run by Blake. Looks like he was only running at 80% with alot more in reserve.

Can't wait for the Jamaica Trials. Its gonna be great.

This was a truly amazing run by Blake, and definitely shows that he will be ready to run and hard to beat come trials and London.

But lets not get carried away with running 80%....

I am a little rusty on the math. Does this mean if he had exerted himself he would have run 7.92 or 8.25? :? :)

That Mike Marsh race in 1992 is ridiculous.. Early season 9.93 into a headwind?

Both Bolt and Blake looked very fresh and "crisp" in their running; I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it's definitely a good sign. Powell looked physically heavy, and a bit sluggish. I think he needs to drop some weight, and I hope he's in or at the end of a heavy training block right now, because he didn't look that good.

1. Dwain Chambers sucked on the lead off leg.
2. Nice work by Racers. Once Bolt was handed the lead there is no one that's going to catch him.
3. Asafa did look "heavy".
4. I for one am glad that Asafa didn't run the 200m.
5. I hope that Sherone Simpson isn't injured.
6. The Organizers did well with miserable weather conditions.
7. Can hardly wait for the JII next month.

I am impressed with the 9.90; he had a big gap on good runners, some of whom have probably pushed polish further than has Blake. Someone seemed to indicate that his start was better, which really ups his potential for this year. Usually it takes more than a race or so to be getting that part smoothed out.

I thought his start and drive phase were supposed to be the two best parts of his race?

In his 19.26 he came off the curve in a 'modest' position, given the finishing time, and no better than an always fast-finishing Dix. A fast first 80m would have given him the WR.

Who told u that? Blake races similar to Tyson gay and Usain Bolt. All 3 best part of the 100m is their last 40 meters

Completely, and I don't think his race in Kingston over the weekend was that far off it. JAM Trial are the real test as he and Bolt will be protected from each other and how Blake responds to someone next to him at 80m will be the real test.
