Trivia Question.

Postby lovetorun » Thu Mar 22, 2012 2:29 pm

Here's a trivia question just because I'm curious who knows this: What BYU track athlete set a WR back in the 90's? I'll give hints if no one knows.

Frankie Fredericks comes to mind quickly (no pun intended). World record indoors?

No, not Frankie Fredericks but, for a hint...the record was set indoors.

You may have someone else in mind but Fredericks broke the WR for 200 meters indoors in 1996. He ran 19.92in France.

Yes Tiffany Lott...55m hurdles in February, 1997 in 7.30. Probably one of the least known WR's. Nice going for "no one".

Note, however, that 55m is not an official World Indoor Record distance. Never has been.

Yes, and I also give Slowcat credit for pointing out that Frankie Fredericks did run the 200m WR indoors in 1996.
