Re: world indoor champs day 2There seems to be a big fuss in the british media about tiffany porter being appointed gb team captain
Re: world indoor champs day 2Gatlin looks terrific in winning his 60 semi by a mile
Re: world indoor champs day 2
Regardless of the rights and wrongs of her running for GB, this is classic Van Commenee. He's just trying to wind up the press and fans who object to so called Plastic Brits. The role of team captain does not normally go to someone who has only been on the team for a year with just one (minor) championship medal behind her. Helen Cliteroe would be a more obvious choice.
