Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50Sorry to hear that. I saw Bill run several times. Did he graduate from Cubberley High School in Palo Alto?
Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50Yes, graduate of Cubberley HS. Still #2 in the 400 on the CCS All-Time list:

Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50I believe Bill Green ran a year at Mt Sac. I'm not sure where he went after Mt Sac.
Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50
Nope. Cubberley HS '79; USC letterman as freshman in '80, soph in '81.
Re: RIP: Bill Green, 501. I am incorrect. Thank you.
2. Did Green compete after '81 3. I thought I remembered a top bay area hs 400 meter runner at Mt Sac. I always had it in my mind it was Bill Green. I'm likely mistaken on that point as well.
Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50You might be thinking of Rod Green who went to Palo Alto HS and graduated in 1980 after running a 47.74 400. I don't know if he went to Mt Sac or not.

Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50
Thank you, I somehow merged the two into one. Rod Green is on the MT Sac record 4x400.
Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50Bill and I were roommates, teammates, and friends at USC. Bill was a Track and Field phenomenon, and a far better friend. Bill had many interests beyond track, life was always interesting with Bill, you never new what adventure was around the corner. He touched many lives. Rod is Bill's Brother. Rest in peace my friend.
Re: RIP: Bill Green, 50I did not know Bill Green...but I did know his brother Rod Green.
We were room mates, and competed, for Mt Sac Collage in 1982. His brother Rob was also very talented, with a rang of evens from the 200 meters to the half mile. if any body knows of Rods Ware a bout’s, I would love to catch up with him. Lamar
