You keep harping on the few short guys who carved a spot for themselves in the NFL and ignore the long list of speedy short players who didn't.

Again, I'm not passing judgment on Demps. But if NFL scouts told him big $$$ awaited, he'd have chosen football over track, even in an Olympic year.

And again: He can try football in the near future. I did mention this, oh, a few times.

And when Demps is shown on TV, Ato Boldon will gloat at how football's loss is track and field's gain.

So is Mr Demps re-evaluating the whole track over football decision in light of his 3rd place finish at the SEC Indoor meet in 6.64? On top of that several guys shined at Combine that he rated higher than in football so the money in football is looking much bigger and his track performances like Sunday's are only going to diminish his worth in track.

Nah. The 60 is a fickle lover. Get a hot start and she adores you. Don't, and you're last week's news. He still has sub-10 in him.
