The Asian indoor championships are on in Hangzhou. Has anyone found a website for this?

Tilastopaja has the results. Mutaz Essa Barshim cleared a high jump WL of 2.37m! :shock:

Downright IMPRESSIVE!!!! This guy will challenge for the gold medal at the Oly I'm sure... He has the makings of someone who can jump over 2.40...

He reminds me of a number of the young prodigies that we saw a couple decades ago that went on to greatness. He has probably the most potential of anyone out there and he could very well challenge the WR in a few years. No question.

I'll put it this way. If anyone of the current jumpers will get close to the WR, it is Barshim.

I see no downside with this kid.

Exactly. When I close my eyes and try to picture the quintissential high-jump build, it's this guy. He is made for this event.
