Wasn't Dee Givens, former OU sprinter, real diminutive ? I remember seeing him up against
KU great Charley Tidwell in the both the flat 60 and 60 LHs in the Big Eight Indoor in KC
(I think it was the 1960 meet), and my recollection was that he was very small ?

I've never seen Givens.

Charley Tidwell...wow! What a forgotten great. As we know he's in that club with ...

Ben Johnson
Eukace Peacock
Jim Golliday
Howard Drew
Art Bragg

....all had injuries cost them a shot at Olympic glory.

While here and on the subject...

Jamaican Les Laing who made the finals of the Olympic 200m and ran a leg on that great 52 4x4 team...5-5 110 pounds.
